- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 9 years in sales within the telecom infrastructure industry.
- In-depth understanding of the Sub-Saharan telecom market, regulatory landscape, and major stakeholders.
- Strong network of established contacts within the telecom and digitization sectors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, fostering rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one local language (e.g., Swahili, French, or Portuguese).
- Willingness to travel extensively within the country to engage with clients and attend industry events.
- Self-driven, thriving both independently and collaboratively to achieve sales targets and project milestones.
- Experience in spearheading digitization or technology transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with emerging markets telecoms.
- A keen understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the Sub-Saharan region relating to telecommunications and digitization.
